Our Memorial Garden

A peaceful space to remember and reflect

Welcome to our Memorial Garden

At our National Training Centre, there’s a special place to think of the loved ones you miss. Between the kennels and the main building, the garden is a peaceful space to remember and reflect. Wander between raised beds dancing with flowers and humming with life, or rest on a bench to take it all in.

Anyone visiting the centre is welcome to spend time in the Memorial Garden, which is fully accessible. We’re usually open 9am to 5pm on weekdays (except Bank Holidays), or we can arrange a weekend visit if you’re making a special journey.

Life-changing partnerships, remembered always

The garden has been blooming for several summers. The growing number of tributes is a poignant reminder of the lives we’ve changed together since 1990. The partnerships. The barriers overcome. The freedom, love and companionship they shared together.

On the in-memory wall, friends and family can add engraved slate plaques to celebrate the lives of people and dogs who were matched through Canine Partners. Their names will be proudly displayed, remembered at the heart of our work.

Honour your loved one with a dedicated memorial

If you’d like to place a plaque, bench, tree, picnic table or plants at our National Training Centre, please get in touch to discuss your plans and potential locations.

We’ll support you with a list of recommended suppliers, dimensions and colours. All you need to do is choose the most fitting tribute for your loved one. There’s no extra cost to add your memorial. You’ll just need to cover the price of the item, plus any charges for engraving and delivery.

Give in memory of someone you love

Please note, we’re currently welcoming garden tributes from the Canine Partners community and their families, to commemorate the dogs we’ve trained and the people we’ve supported.

If you would like to remember a friend, family member or beloved pet, we have a range of ways to support Canine Partners in their memory.
